Laser-Beam Interactions 2001 Conference Edition
The 21st ICFA Beam Dynamics Workshop on Laser-Beam Interactions was
held at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA from June
11 to June 15, 2001. It took place under the joint auspices of ICFA
(the International Committee on Future Accelerators) and the Stony
Brook Physics Department. The workshop addressed the most recent
results and future possibilities in the following topics:
- High quality electron beams
- High quality, high power laser beams
- Ultra-fast X-ray microscopy and pump-probe experiments
- Laser induced radiation from electron beams: Thomson scattering, seeded Free Electron Lasers, harmonic generation
